The 2025 Annual Meeting was a brilliant gathering of faculty and staff across Education City. The panel was enlightening and table discussions were productive and inspiring. We discussed formal vs. informal mentorship programs, micromentorship, challenges in mentoring, training of mentors, and resources needed. Some takeaways were the desire to have regular meetups to help foster mentorship connections and guidance, multiversity events to bring faculty and staff together, especially across disciplines, access to the network within Qatar, and recognizing mentorship efforts in performance evaluations.
